Hugh was the first person in a long time that Theodore had really dug into his history with, and it was a sign of respect, friendship, and love that he had done so. It wasn't the sort of thing he'd had to do with Jamie; Jamie had lived much of it with him. And as he wrapped things up, he felt a weight lift from him, like it was this last thing that he'd been keeping from Hugh - that he had murdered his own father - and now it was out there, between them. They were going to be apart, but their friendship had never been stronger.
"I always do," Theodore replied with another smile. "And I expect you to keep me updated on all your roles, and to let me know when I can expect to see you in your next movie. Ah, you can write. Physical letters, I know - pain -" He laughed, and yes, he could still laugh after all he'd been through. "But if you send them to the house in Salem, I'll get them." He closed the distance between them and embraced Hugh. "I'm going to miss you, friend," he said, holding on. "But I'll be back to visit before you know it."
