Re: cottage; ren & adrian
Ren nodded at this revelation - it made sense after all - sort of fell in line with what he knew of it and what he'd seen thus far. For a moment he didn't particularly speak, but he considered what that might mean for what Adrian was trying to do and what he wanted and hoped to accomplish. "Let's consider a friend," he told Adrian. "Sometimes it's amazing what that can do."
Granted he didn't know how sentient or independent the Obscurus was. It might not be at all, so then this wouldn't make as much sense, but it might be as much for how Adrian was thinking about it as it was for the Obscurus itself. Because it was a form of acceptance. He looked over at Adrian and smiled, glancing down. "It sucks when there's a piece of yourself you're trying to avoid or not... let out."
It was easy to nod approval of just lifting. It was simple, if it worked- and Ren hoped that it would - then it provided incentive, and a small success. He watched, his eyes on the rock, then on Adrian, then back to the rock - watching as it lifted, the way the grey mist filled in underneath it - the Obscurus? maybe - it seemed possible. But Ren didn't say anything, just watched, a small smile on his lips as he did. As it lifted further his eyes came back to Adrian. "What are you feeling?" Softly.
