Re: [B&B: Dante & Holly]
"No crutches once you have this on." Dante would confirm to Holly with a nod. "It's not made for extensive rigorous activities, so no running marathons or taking up rugby, but every day walking and even light running shouldn't be an issue. It'll also help with the stretches you're going to need to do because it has dials built in to ratchet the range the exoskeleton sits on to hold in place at specific angles." At his thanks, she'd offer a soft smile in return.
"Seriously, don't thank me until we've got you as healed, up and moving as much as possible." From here her hands would start to move again. "Phase two depends on a lot of different things. How quickly we can get the slimmer brace calibrated, how quickly you're healing, how much exercise and movement you can stand per day. You get the idea. Phase two depends on you doing what you should be doing and not aggravating your injuries because all this relies heavily on things progressing as expected with your healing. Which sucks." The last two words would quickly be added on after the rest of the explanation because it fucking did suck, and she knew it.
"Now let's go through what all the different buttons, straps and things do, yeah?" Moving she'd sit next to him so that the exoskeleton brace could be held so that it was easily viewable from where they both were positioned. "Probably shouldn't put it on for the first time without me around, but starting to learn how it works now will help prep you for handling it later." With that out, Dante would wait for Holly to confirm he had it in him tonight first to start going over this before progressing on anything else.
