Re: holly nw/jack p
Here endeth the career with the military, I bloody hope. Yes? No?
Look. I know you trust Noah. It's good. People have a tendency I think, to find one, maybe two but usually one person that is their person. That's their go-to when life's messy. But hating everyone in life, which is the other, dramatic end of the scale, is also hard work. So it's about finding mediums.
Does whoever it is know that you're presently keen on the idea of burning the ground on which their house stands, etc? Because again, people, and consequences and stars in their own stories, etc, etc. You're an odd fish, Holly. You say what you think, I think. Most people hedge. So plain English, despite being utterly true, can be brutal if you're used to dodging. That's them, not you. But I come back to stars in their own stories, most people - most, not all - want very badly to be liked. They want to be liked, and they're never the villain, in their own minds, anyway, which sometimes makes them martyrs in everyone else's.
You sound angry. That, my friend, sounds exhausting.
