Jesus everloving christ. How the hell did that even happen?
I didn't say demons were in your future. I said they had nothing to do with your future. There's at least one round here who runs trades, stay very far away. They're not bargains to go making. They go wrong.
Yes, all right. You're aware people are terrible, very bad, awful creatures. And you've had your fingers burned on trust, by the sound of it, and giving it and having it spat back, and you're stinging because the interpretation of you poured over you by other people with liberal disregard for your feelings in the matter, is pretty unpleasant.
I suppose it comes back down to, do they matter? It sounds like they do, if it hurts. I'm not going to say anything twee or trite about trust. I think it's more practical than that.
We have to trust some people with some things. Or we go mad. We can't bottle everything. We can't keep it inside and let it drive us stark raving mad, we need to share. We're built that way. And I've always thought having more than one person to pour your troubles into means that they're less likely to overflow, but if they've capacity, it's something altogether different. So the point is, trust is sort of necessary and it does mean fingers get burned, pretty comprehensively.
is it a flogging, or a burning at the stake offence? I'm not talking about your piss. I draw a line somewhere.
