Alex twitched his lips back and forth a couple times before he spoke. "I'm prolly at least a four just for giving you a rating in the first place," he admitted with a little smile. "But yeah, we c'n go sometime if you want. I bet they'll have some cool stuff after Christmas and all," he said. He had to imagine that there would be a lot of people donating unwanted stuff after the holidays. He needed some new shoes as his current pair were definitely a bit worse for wear. Problem was, they were super broken in and super comfortable. So he kept putting it off.
"Okay," he agreed, following her back to the counter area. "Cooking. And...go," he said, holding up his hand in a parody of the Sorcerer's Apprentice or something, like he expected the kitchen stuff to start moving around and making dinner on its own. "Damn, though that'd work," he muttered, then looked at Audrey with that little hint of a smirk again. "Guess we'll hafta do it for real. What d'you need me to do?" He looked awkward in that moment, not really sure where to stand or where to put his hands or what to do at all.
