Re: Electronics Shop Apartments: Shiloh F, Alex W
"What I'd like is anything that doesn't come in a box or frozen," Shiloh suggested. It was rather a big ask in small words. Fresh food was not the easiest to prepare, and it certainly wasn't the easiest to find in Repose. "If you learn to make something, I'll find the ingredients," he suggested, thinking it a good and fair way to manage things.
He nodded when Alex repeated Heath's name. He considered, in that moment, how much to tell Alex, but opted not to add anything at all. If Heath wished to open his mouth, Heath would, and Shiloh was feeling peckish about his siblings that day. Heath, who pretended as if he'd done everything to be done during the incident, when Shiloh felt certain Heath had just accepted what Father said without even batting an eyelash. And Chris, over there, pretending she spoke to a stranger. He was irked, and perhaps it flashed across his open-book face a moment, and then he shook his head and the look was chased away by dark curls going every which way.
He walked himself to the door, and he glanced back once. "I'll show myself out," he said. "Tell me when the paint and posters and things come, so I can enjoy the sight of Mal being forced to stand on a ladder and be joyful. Perhaps a tree. Perhaps I'll suggest a tree," he added, already on his way out the door. He best get to work early, as there apparently might be windows that required repair.
