Re: Electronics Shop Apartments: Shiloh F, Alex W
If this was him - Shiloh - without the show and without the stir, Alex liked him. Confident and assured without being pushy about it, that's how Alex saw him over the course of their brief time together. Maybe a little careless, even, but that wasn't necessarily a fault. Alex could see the way he just did what felt right in the moment. He admired that. Alex always wanted to think things through, to be cautious, and not reactionary. It usually caused him no small amount of worry.
"Cooking?" Alex liked Pop Tarts. And ramen. And coffee. And a bunch of other things that probably didn't technically require any sort of skilled cooking. But, it might not be a bad thing to try and learn. Not just for Shiloh, of course, but for himself. Probably for Mal, too, but he wasn't thinking that in the moment. It would be useful to learn how to cook and not literally be buying chips for dinner and stuff like that. Probably wasn't good for him in the long-term. But then, he smoked too, which he knew wasn't. But he hadn't been much of a long-term thinker, before coming to Repose. "I can give it a shot," he said with a shrug. "Might be fun, even." He decided he'd try to find some recipes soon, maybe watch some tutorials or something. But he'd try. Maybe baking, even. It would be cheaper than buying muffins at the coffee shop nearly every day. "We could all have dinner or something. The three of us."
