Re: Disembarking: Jack/Heath/Chris
"Home it is. And at some point you're going to have to tell me just what exactly a creepy murder train is." Chris shifted the car into gear and continued down the road towards the Fairchild home. She cast frequent small glances over her shoulder at Heath as she went, looking for visual confirmation that he was, in fact, starting to warm up. Chris turned the heat up all the way on the console, closed the vents on her side to help increase the flow out of the others, and hoped that would be enough.
"It's not a problem if you want tea." She tried to look at Jack over Heath's head, only partially succeeding. "We have both, so whatever you're in the mood for." Although most of Chris's tea stash was in her condo in the Capital, she had been spending enough time in Repose since Heath moved in to bring over a shelf full of her favorites for casual drinking. If Shiloh had seen it he would have given her hell, but as it was it took up very little room in the otherwise massive and mostly empty kitchen.
Chris's brows shot up at Jack's declaration. "Hold on, you're saying you've experienced worse things than 'a creepy murder train'? Where? How?"
