Hannah was less a fairy tale, and more science fiction, but the general idea was very similar. A few years ago he wouldn't have thought that she could exist, and Repose had proven him wrong there. That it might prove him wrong about other fairy tales was something he had quietly begun to accept.
"In a manner of speaking," Hugh shifted in his seat so he could really look at the man beside him. "At least, it's close enough I think. And definitely not strictly human," he added thoughtfully, not about to go into any further details. "I've come to the conclusion that it's not so unusual here. And I'm thinking that it also applies to you," he added quietly. Not sure if he should or not, but since they were having the conversation... "Although we don't have to talk about it if you don't want to either. People tend to like their privacy in this town, and I understand that."
