There, Marta knew who she was, but the words stopped there. She could push, she supposed, but pushing Marta would be counterproductive, and she thought she might slice straight through to her core if she wasn't careful.
Instead she smiled, one of those quirky understanding smiles as she reached up to brush Marta's hair behind her ear. "Hmm, no talking then? Shall we walk instead?" Walk, before this faded, before she let it fade like her power was dim and human. Even if it was known, or suspected she wasn't, there were ways to stay lurking beneath the radar and that was one of them.
She spun around, picking up Marta's opposite hand and smiling as she took a step back, deeper into the trees, avoiding broken chunks of marble flooring without looking. "I can do more than enough talking for the both of us if you'd rather be quiet. Or we can enjoy this in silence." It was a variety of options that she only expected to see Marta nod or otherwise indicate which she preferred.
