Duke had always housed a deep love for gizmos and gadgets. The gears turning this way and that while springs and pulleys allowed pushing and pulling with minimal effort for maximum effect were mesmerizing at best and entrancing - whisking away hours of his time while he attempted to tinker - at worst. It would be amazing to see what new technologies would come forth as their world continued to evolve and just how they would benefit him in the end. There had been a fascinating movement towards spring loaded mechanisms that one could strap to their person for quick retrieval of-
The Diplomat smiled back, his cheerful demeanor ever present as he listened to the other man speak. "Ah, an unfortunate understanding I have held that plenty patrons are within the deepest darkness related to our current circumstances." And it was. This was a variable that Duke hadn't thought to plan for, but really, how could anyone have planned for something like this?
"I beautifully believed the tremendous train the fastest fare to my delightful destination." His words were delivered with a nod as if to cement agreement with the other that he had indeed just arrived not terribly long before.
