"It's a plan," Delyth agreed easily. And she did like having it to look forward to. "I'll have to figure out which pie recipes to try. Do we go with something we know, or something new that we have no clue if we like?" Or both. Honestly, she rather thought both sounded good. It wasn't as if she typically had much reason to bake pies after all so she might as well take it when one shuffled into her lap.
She took another bite of the roll in front of her and nodded. "I'm glad as well. I..." she considered. There'd been a time where she'd embraced all of the fancy scene. She had loved it initially, the reason to dress up, fancy heels and jewelry, like a princess or royalty, but it turned out it had easily been the part that she'd liked the best, and the rest of it... she'd liked less. "I think I always wanted to like it more than I did," she told him. "but you do clean up very nicely, and if anyone questions it, send them to me, probably somewhere I have proof," she teased. "But, I have not missed those parties much since I came home, and I was always glad when I found you at one. Some decent conversation amongst all the chatter and small talk."
