Re: log: adrian and ren - in the cottage
Ren huffed out a breath in a bit of a laugh. He did sometimes have a good memory, but also he'd spent a lot of time thinking about and replaying conversations he'd had with Adrian, trying to remember things that might be helpful. He listened quietly, and eventually he took a sip of the tea.
"What happens if you do think about it? Or have you tried that?" Ren asked, curiously. Not thinking about it did seem like it might help, and certainly he'd felt like when they'd talked it did help, but it obviously wasn't an always sort of thing, and they were maybe beyond just that. And the idea of drawing it out, that seemed to have been what Newt had maybe been suggesting too.
"It'd kinda make sense?" Ren suggested. And then he shifted. "I mean, I don't know that much about trauma and stuff, but if something is suppressed, then, I think it'd make sense that you have to pull it out." A beat. "Dangerous maybe, but it's not that I haven't been around it before, right? We could work with that."
