Compassion never, ever hurts, Jamie. You can care for him, be concerned for him, without hating someone you have never even spoken to. Addiction is hard. It's really, really hard. I see it every day, and I would never judge someone for it, because I don't know what it's like really. And I think she hates herself a lot, and maybe hating her too isn't going to help anyone. It doesn't help Seven, does it?

You can hate her, but remember that she's the mother of his baby, and she's always going to be part of his life, and I don't think hating her is really what he needs, not from my conversation with him.
