It does, but if you have it, it's not a bad walk. It can even be kind of a pretty one.
I hear you. I took public transit almost everywhere when I lived in the city. I was going to say I've got a couple of cars and we could work it out for you to use one if you needed, but you'd need to have a license - obviously.
It's just me in the house, I've got two cats and a dog so if pets are an issue probably it wouldn't be a good match. My work is contract based, so my schedule is a bit irregular. What else? Oh, rooms, I've got four bedrooms I'm not using. One is on the lower level, and would probably be the more private of the four - there's a game room and like wetbar type area down there with a sink and refrigerator and a microwave, so you'd have more or less your own kitchen space if you wanted. There's three bedrooms on the top floor too - that's where mine is, and they're obviously less private, but each has their own bath.
