“I’ve never been to England, but I’ve always imagined that might be the case,” he smiled. “Someday maybe I’ll get there.” He supposed If he could keep doing shows and films maybe at some point there would be an opportunity to get to travel. “Where did Elaine stay before she was old enough to go with you guys.”
He smiled, as the waiter brought back entrees, and the glass of wine for him. After thanking her, he turned back to Theodore. “She’s the reason I’m as successful as I am. She took me to dance classes and theatre camps and supported me even when Dad wasn’t so thrilled about my Interests and I’d put her up against almost anyone and assume she would win,” he chuckled. “Reserved isn’t something I’d consider myself generally. Although I have been more recently. And I don’t know, maybe I’ve learned to appreciate it a bit more? Or...” he was thoughtful as he considered. “Maybe I’ve actually always been reserved in some ways and just incredibly outgoing? Private might be a better word?”
“It feels like she couldn’t have done better for fathers,” Hugh smiled. “It’s great that the timing worked out for you both.” He reached for his fork and took a bite. “Yeah alright this is as good as what I had last time.”
