Re: [Hall Way: Delyth & Patrick]
He took a long swallow of the coffee. Man, everything here was so different. It was not that the coffee was not good, but it was most different from the drinks served in Arborlon. They had something that resembled coffee, but the beans were young and green and the drink tasted much brighter than this. Like everything else, Patrick was becoming re-acclimated. It seemed this was all he was doing recently; he was mired in playing catch up, and he knew there was not much time for this. He would need to decide upon his future path, and he would need to meet with his bro and tell him about Webster. He would also need to discuss the trunk with Newt, and where it would be kept. Man, things were busy and complicated, and therefore it was nice to sit and sip the bitter liquid that burned as it went down.
"I would appreciate that, my girl," he said of her looking into her books. "I will not turn down anything that might help, including jewelry." He did not seem at all skeptical about the jewelry, as he was not skeptical; the elves saw great healing value in stones and metals, so this was not a far stretch for the dude. In the end, he only hoped something could be done to help his bro. Man, it seemed as if they spun their wheels repeatedly when it came to Adrian and his issues, and the dude was going to get himself into the type of trouble there was no returning from eventually. It was impossible to ignore the fact that his bro was most certainly escalating. This made him think (again) about the conversation he needed to have with him in regards to Webster, and, man, what would be gained from it? Perhaps it was better to say nothing.
But he returned his grateful attention to Delyth. "I thank you, and will gladly compensate or assist in any way possible."
