Re: dock: atticus and mal
Knew about the radios. Wasn't sure yet if the aging phenomenon was the doing of the ghosts. Suspected not. Suspected he might find out more about manipulation ability if he did some exploring further away from the house. Hadn't done that yet. Was a lazy guy, but was getting to the point where he was bored enough to consider venturing out. Probably once the lake froze and this outlet was denied him. "Good. Straying sounds better than not straying. Can't be the protagonist of your own life without some straying." Wasn't a strayer, but hypocrisy had never bothered Atticus.
Glanced down at Shakespeare. "Press the seams. Got it." Would try it later. One of the things that had come from living on the island was this tendency to drag things out. Make things last longer. Was a side effect of boredom.
Glanced over his shoulder. "Better call first." Had allowed Billy on the island, but that had been unwise. Janus showed up uninvited all the time, but didn't think a demon could turn into a child. "Have a larger boat. Tend to take that out when I want to be social." Was his current system. Was in the process of gutting the inside of the ferry to make it more like an apartment on the water. Desperate times.
"Will let you know if I manage to get Shakespeare open," he offered as he pushed away from the dock. Turned the music up by way of farewell.
