Re: [Recovery: Marta & Hannah]
Marta didn't know why Si would want to visit someone he barely knew in a place like this (nice, but still a rehab facility filled with broken people). And reaching out to make contact with someone Marta was so certain didn't want to even hear about her, much less from her? That still made a sharp talon of guilt and pain hook hard behind her ribs, but she also knew (without question in her mind) that it would be her last chance to hear anything about Seven. And maybe he wouldn't even talk to Hannah, but maybe... maybe it was worth that risk? She didn't really want to put the other woman in that position, but she'd offered.
So she fumbled for the tablet that had slipped down between her chair's arm and cushion, bringing it back to life and jittering her fingertips over the screen. Three letters seemed more difficult than the rest of their conversation combined, but she managed to get them typed out.
yes
She nodded again, feeling nearly nauseous with having agreed to something she'd told herself she wouldn't do. But she was also glad for another hug and glad that Hannah had visited - the only visitor Marta'd received since being admitted. The combination of emotions was enough to nearly make her throw up, and she wasn't sure how her response looked when she gave an awkward little wave goodbye.
