Re: Outside the Homestead: Patrick G/Newt P
Arborlon had been most difficult the first time around. The elves had an instinctive distrust of other races, and other races had an instinctive distrust of magic. It was only since the war that the races were making inroads in collaboration, most notably at Storlock, where healers trained. This did not mean that the elves would like this new connection with the Dadga Mar, but Patrick had not dealt with this before leaving to return here. He had not dealt with it at all; there would be time for that, man.
Dude, yes. Patrick's belief that communication was key had been fostered during his relationship with Des. They could move on to more pleasurable things once the topic of Adrian was exhausted. "You should agree with me before returning to the topic of your mishandling of my ears," he said with a crooked smile that acknowledged Newt's own smile. He knew the dude did not want to linger longer on this topic; he could tell. But Patrick, as Newt had previously stated, was most stubborn. "We can talk about my discoveries after your departure post-Adrian and post-sex," he added bluntly, with much more comfort than in times past.
But, in an effort to best use the time allotted them, he did slide his hands beneath Newt's sweater and encourage it upward (and off) if he could.
