"You should go if you get a chance," Hugh encouraged. "I don't know much about the east coast - especially up north - so I couldn't really say. I know parts of the Olympic Peninsula are definitely wild and secluded. Mostly I've been in more populated areas, but it can be real quiet on the outside edge - the one that faces the ocean truly. The sound is more protected. But I think you'd enjoy it."
Hugh shook his head. "I don't think I've met her," he said. "But there's a lot of people I haven't met yet." And he wouldn't have heard of the town if not for his biological father, and he'd never asked how he had found it, only accepted that it'd be a decent enough place to hide when he'd needed it. And he grinned slightly, there was some truth to the idea that you might need to not fit in, to fit in, but on the other hand, he'd always preferred knowing where he stood, and that was sometimes difficult here. "It's been relatively quiet since you arrived, anyway," Hugh smiled. "Which is fine," he added softly. If he were honest he was grateful the last thing had passed him by, and was sort of dreading whatever happened next. Maybe there wouldn't be anything else- or at least he'd have lived out the Repose experience that going to alter his life permanently instead of in some sort of quirky 'here, learn something simple about yourself'way. He still felt a bit as if he were reeling from the last thing.
"Do you want anything else to drink?" He added, glancing at the empty mug, and half wanting something in his hand himself. "I've got a full bar cart, but also I could get some sparkling water or something along those lines if you'd rather."
