Re: Lakeside:Theodore/Hugh
"Maybe a cat," Theodore considered. "The school would allow her that, and I wouldn't have to care for it while she's away. Not that I would mind, necessarily, but if it is to be hers, it should spend time with her." He smiled, remembering how Del had told him he needed "new cat friends." Maybe one for himself. A familiar.
"Well, it seems I've found myself in a more interesting place than I anticipated. Here I was expecting Mayberry, and it appears I've found Twin Peaks, instead." Theodore watched an embarrassing amount of streaming television.
Theodore went quiet, thoughtful, and maybe a little distracted, mainly wondering if showing Hugh a little magic would freak him out, or put him at ease. He decided that since he didn't know the answer to that question, yet, he would be better off abstaining. "I likely should not, though it is very good. I'll be wanting to get back soon. I might now be slightly paranoid about leaving Elaine by herself in the cottage, even though it is...locked up tight." He'd been about to say warded; it was all this talk of magic. Or at least, his thoughts of it.
