"Jack," Alex repeated. "Well Jack, if I got the time I'll come an' see," he said with a nod. Damn it, but kids shouldn't have to work and should be able to eat. He didn't know if he could make the time, but he would try.
Alex followed his gaze out onto the street and fixed on a figure he knew - the curls were a dead giveaway. He seemed to be talking to...a lady pirate? Kinda...handsy, if Alex was asked his opinion. He yawned though, suddenly, and it was an absurdly huge thing. Like, head tilting back, lips peeling back from his teeth huge. He'd never yawned like that in his natural life and it was more than a little embarrassing. "Looks fun but...I'm dead on my feet." Phrasing. "Still gotta walk home ahead a me. 'm gonna call it a night, but you have fun. Looks like a good time."
