He looked over and gave a cocky sort of smile. "I'm Jack," he took the hand offered and nodded. "Unless you've got connections to Pulitzer and can convince him to do what we need before we all strike, I think we've got it." At least he hoped so. "We're gonna be protesting with signs and stuff tomorrow, see if we can keep their attention, so if you aren't workin', you should come by and check it out."
Numbers seemed good any way you looked at it, and while Alex might not be a newsboy, numbers still seemed good. "And yeah, my pleasure." He surveyed everything below them from the fire escape. "Looks like there's dancin' down there, and maybe some good stuff to drink too."
