"I work there and have a place out there, but I'll be here more on weekends because other members of my family are coming down to the lakehouse." Although Chris ordinarily would not have dropped the word "lakehouse" in a casual conversation with a perfect stranger, something about Hugh's demeanor told her that not only would he not judge her, but that there was a good chance he could also relate. "It's beautiful out here this time of year, so I'm glad."
