Lucifer continues his work on Janus' foot, giving himself something to do as he thinks and talks. More than just that, it gives him the sense of contact that he's been fighting the missing of. Fingers against skin helps him focus, even if it seems like his attention is split, pads firm into the tendons along Janus' sole, stretching toes, mirroring on either side of Achilles tendon.
The sound he makes at Janus' confession of honesty lands somewhere between amusement and disbelief. Perhaps tinged with a flavor of bitterness. "I likely should have chosen someplace other than Repose. It's rather twisted me around."
