"I won't tell," he returned, low and bemused. "I've always been rubbish with just liking the classics anyway." There were theatre people who couldn't stand musicals, for instance, and Hugh had always loved them the most. Oh, not that he didn't love serious theatre - he did. It was hard to think of something that he wouldn't perform in, or find a challenge, or enjoy, but musicals always seemed to bring something that audiences really connected to and he loved that.
"I think every love story is a ghost story of sorts," he mused. "Not necessarily ghost ghosts, but the spectral sense of things unseen feels almost a piece of all of them. But in this case, I think the book would definitely be improved by a ghost, absolutely."
