I don't think I've ever, ever read anything so delicious, and it's even better than the moors and Heathcliff, though I think I'm probably not supposed to say that." She smiled warmly at him, copper cascading across her cheek as she turned to look at him. "He's a terrible rogue, and he thinks he doesn't love her at all, but he'll realize soon that he can't live without her," she said, voice appropriately dramatic and matching her little speech.
She watched him glance at the stage, and she checked her own place and timing, and then she looked back at him. "There aren't any ghosts, but you're right that there should be one. A sad one, maybe, that loved and lost?"
