Janus looked dimly across the table, eyes hooded. Even with the coffee, he looked less peppy than he had before he'd come. He came back the table, and sat. Not so boneless as before. "I'm not sure you understand. I don't just take a car. Money doesn't mean anything to me. I take away what makes you like it. The joy of it when you see one. The satisfaction you have when you understand how they work and the admiration you might have of the paint or wheels or whatever else you like."
