Re: Holly's place: Holly/ Noah
Holly, when he was clear, like in those moments where the painkillers wore off a little and before the pain came chomping, knew to worry a lot about Noah. Like, he wasn't stupid, and he realized Noah hadn't said anything yet about how he'd felt during all of the facility stuff, and Holly knew it was important to ask. He was gonna do it on the phone, but things had gone up and down like a rollercoaster, and he hadn't made it to asking. He'd forgotten now, too, but that was because everything was sleep-thick and pained, and he heard the door open, but even that didn't rouse him.
What did rouse him? Was Noah's touch. He, Holly, didn't move right away, but he did open brown eyes and looked at the guy beside the table. He blinked slowly, once and twice, and he gave Noah a soft smile. "Hey." With a groan, he sat back, sat up. "In a minute," he promised, and he nodded toward the meds. "One antibiotic and half a painkiller." Bossily. Because he wanted to be more lucid, right? If they were gonna talk, he needed to be more with it, and he skimmed Noah's face, you know, trying to figure out how the guy was really doing.
