Re: [(early) kinda sorta mental: holly/noah.]
[The body has a sort of awareness of itself. It's not perfect. But, it's usually communicating to the brain, the position of limbs, what hurts where, that kind of thing. So it wouldn't be surprising at all for Holly to notice, in some peripheral, tangential way, all that blood still flowing. Noah's aware too. He knows it's coming from behind. Another hole, another wound, or the same wound, the way a straw could be argued to have one hole or two. Anyway, Noah feels calmer than he has any right too, but it's like he has his own situational awareness that's larger than himself and that's definitely never happened. Not like this. He can see and hear the chaos ensuing. That snaking black cloud that skitters, breaks, reforms, tears away. At the same, he's Holly. He's in Holly. Or he is Holly. Or Holly is one of his limbs and he's aware of its positioning. Whatever. Holly's so scared. His body is flooding with adrenaline, cortisol. Everything is dilating: pupils, veins, nostrils. Noah's able to focus through the panic. His response isn't a single word. It's just an answer, something that encompasses Holly, almost from within. A sensation of presence, of warmth, of here.]
