"Alex," Klaus repeated his name with a nod, as though committing it to memory. Names he wasn't too bad with, for some reason. "I'm Klaus." This was nice. Normal. His head twitched to the side again, taking another drag of the end of the cigarette he'd been offered. It was helping in a weird way.
One of the trailers was loud with music and voices, a dull thump of bass coming from behind the thin walls.
"I'm cold," he murmured, because he was rapidly sobering up now, and what the fuck had he snorted earlier? Someone had played him and he wasn't happy about that. "I don't know where my clothes went." Now Klaus sounded sorry for himself. And slightly embarrassed. "Thank you for coming with me. You can just leave me. It'll be fine. I'll be fine."
