Re: Just off-campus, Capital: Holly W/Noah N
So many clubs basically existed—or seemed to exist—for the sole purpose of hooking up. Gay or not, man, people came and got drinks and eyed other people. Obviously, there were more specialized, uh, clubs, where they did more than that, blah, blah, but, the point was that there was a certain prevalent attitude—basically that your preferred gender(s) were there to fuck, so everyone was a piece of meat. Chicks, to Noah's mind, did it differently at the bar than what he was seeing now. Girls would kind of keep walking into your field of vision, hoping you'd see them and do something about it. This packed room, right now, was a bunch of dudes looking each other up and down. Holly wasn't the only one who felt like they'd just landed their SO in a feeding frenzy. Noah was used to the reactions he got from people. He'd lived with them his whole lift. But, he was aware af rn of the way dudes were looking at Holly, at Holly's ass in those pants and his thicc waist and thighs, his lips—there were plenty of specific thoughts about them—and everything else.
But, unlike Holly, man, Noah was easy to distract. The noise was just noise, you know? Something he was used to, and he was used to turning his focus outward when he could. So that hook of fingers in black band of jeans propelled him forward and present. Noah took the opportunity of Holly's positioning of himself to push up against the dude. The bartender was fetching pink things, probably, and Noah's attention there was lacking. Instead, he smiled at Holly. He turned sideways, his own elbow against the bar, so he could be, like, perpendicular to Holly, his crotch, for example, to the outside of Holly's thigh. "They should definitely offer sippy cups," he mused, a tangential thought relating to dancing and drinking, per Holly's question. "The real question is, if you're going to dance with me." Noah buttoned his lower lip with a tooth and smiled. Cascading colors moved over both of them, and to help with Holly's decision, Noah rocked his hips side to side in a sort of dance.
