And I'm saying that people don't come out of the womb learning to sell perfect. They sell perfect when they recognize that the risk of being themselves is rejection. That while there may be a few people out there who pour gold into the cracks and make beautiful art out of broken things, those people are few and far between, because most people see the cracks and don't stick around to see what could be made with them.
It may be bullshit, but every marketer out there sells perfection and it works because people are scared of broken.
