Re: Under the lights: Tandy/Mars
When Tandy pointed out his distant friends, Mars looked in the direction of of his hand toward three decidedly male figures cloaked in gloomy night time and the illuminated echoes of bonfire gold. She'd expected one to be a girl because of the name Holly, but that didn't seem to be the case. Although Mars was inclined to judge, she only tilted her head a little when looking back to Tandy. She didn't even try to suppress her amused raising of an eyebrow when he categorized this boring, small-town shindig as something pretty neat. "You so need to get out more."
As far as being at a party alone, Mars didn't really see anything wrong with it. "I thought that I might see somebody I knew." It hadn't happened. Considering how disinclined she was to make friends, this wasn't so surprising, but she'd sort of expected to spot a redheaded sibling or two somewhere. She probably should have known better. "Not that I blame them, this place is kind of a bore." She stepped aside to set her cup of beer on a nearby beer pong table, losing interest in both its taste and effect. "I'm going to walk home."
