Klaus' eyes widened, initially at the lack of drugs in his body, because it had been a very, very long time since he was sober and not aching. It was an odd feeling, almost like a wave of nausea on its own. He wobbled on the spot, suddenly terrified at the clarity of everything and knowing-
Without the drugs things were going to get very unhappy very soon.
Quicker for Elijah though, apparently. Somehow, some power had granted him the ability to drain Klaus of his chemicals and...that wasn't going well for him.
"Hey, hey," Klaus whispered, stepping closer, his hand going to rub at Elijah's back. "Shit. Are you okay? Fuck. What did you do?" he asked, looking around skittishly. "Why did you do that? You didn't have to do that." The ghosts were going to find him, and now his fr...uh, no, Elijah, he was suffering with whatever that cocktail of drugs had been. Klaus' body had been used to them, but all of them in one go- "I'm sorry, you shouldn't have done that. You shouldn't have- I'm a goddamn mess. Shit. I'm sorry."
Now Klaus didn't want to be sober and guilty. Either of those things on their own was awful, but together was something else. "Do you need water? Do you need to sit down?"
