Re: Bonfire: James/Mao
James? Mao looked dubious. “Okay, sure. James it is.” Normally quick to slap a new acquaintance with a nickname, he held off for now. More time was needed to suss the guy out, you know, get a little inspiration.
The empty crushed can was carelessly chucked. Mao wasn’t about to make an effort to be thoughtful when he knew he was on some rich guy’s property. Let the owner hire someone to clean the place up, he should know what he was getting into allowing strangers to have a party on his lawn.
In something resembling manners, he introduced himself too. “I’m Mao.” A shrug. “I kinda been coming and going for a couple of years. Sometimes this place gets too boring.” He never spent too long in any one place, though lately Repose actually managed to be interesting.
“Why’d you come here?” He asked hoping for something juicy.
