Re: In-person: Holly W/Noah N
'Sunday school'? [He laughed.] I've been to church, like, twice. [But, he'd keep thinking about the pushing thing, about if it was something he should be, if it was something Holly must miss, because, for all he could see into the dude/feel him/whatever, he had no idea. But, he didn't think, like, being sad was a good reason to stop being something someone liked you being. Or, that someone expected from the relationship, or... whatever. I don't know.
Not pushing, Noah nodded when Holly agreed to talk about stuff when they had time. He didn't fight against the thoughts Holly was having about him, Noah, not always being safe, about having no resolution to their problem, about Xanax and addiction and everything else. We'll see it was, and Noah stood, digging socks into the dirt to help Holly up. He let the dude prop up his chin, and he looked at Holly through dark lashes.] I don't want to let it get forgotten. It's important. [And it was. But, yeah, it was time to go, so he came forward, as instructed—but not because of it, and he wrapped Holly in a big hug. It was the squeezing kind of hug, where breath is compressed out of you by need, and Noah pressed his nose to Holly's hair/ear. For a long moment, he held it, the hug, then, finally, he slackened his bodily grip and kissed the dude.
The kiss itself was a lot. It was emotion translated into physical, and he licked along Holly's lower lip once, before pulling back. Noah steeled himself with another breath, then slapped Holly on the ass.] Okay, let's go. I don't want you to get in trouble. [And if Holly didn't protest, Noah led them both back to the Jeep, his hand in Holly's as long as it could be, and climbed in. He was quiet for the ride back to the gate, but he didn't hesitate to lean over the console for a last kiss.] I'll see you in a bit, [he promised.]
