Re: In-person: Holly W/Noah N
[Okay, so Holly wanted to stray too. I mean, he was kinda straying with this whole conversation about Noah knowing he was going to score, right? It was a break, like taking a deep breath at high altitude or something.] I knew it at the motel. [And he wasn't bullshitting.] I knew it as soon as I let you in the bathroom. If I'd been able to resist? That never would've happened. [And he was quiet there a moment, as Noah smiled over his shoulder.] Yeah, that's cheating. [But his voice was soft, and it was crazy-fond.] Cautious, but I was, like, wild impatient for that night in the theater, blindfold and all. I kept imagining what I'd seen in the pictures, and how you sounded, you know, those nights we talked until late. [Noah was in luck, because Holly wasn't feeling spiteful at the moment.]
Okay. You hit them up. I'll hit Adrian up. [He sighed.] And Sunny. [He wanted to be supportive for her, he did, but he wasn't exactly a supportive guy.] You know, back home, Sunny was good. She wasn't down on herself, and she was always a good friend, you know? A really good ear. Like, Dietre was happy. Legitimately, unequivocally happy. [But, right, right, back on topic. Holly had raised one hand, and he was idly toying with Noah's curl at the nape as he kissed at the guy's neck.] I'm not talking about doing anything for my sake. Okay, look, listen, can you promise me that you won't do anything stupid if shit is hard at work? I mean, okay, if I'm dead? Do something. But if it's just me being freaked or working my way through the shit I'm supposed to work my way through, I need to know you'll stay put. I mean it. If you don't want me pushing this, then you need to give me your word and mean it.]
