Re: In-person: Holly W/Noah N
[To be entirely honest, Holly kinda expected Noah to give in, eventually, to whatever he, Holly, wanted. Maybe that wasn't true, but it was absolutely the guy's expectations. Like, now, Noah was shaking his head, those curls bobbing all over, and Holly knew the hands on Noah's ass would bring the guy closer. I mean, it wasn't why he did it, but he trusted in the outcome. At that wasn't to say that Noah didn't push, because Noah did, and Holly loved when the guy pushed back at him, but, ultimately? Yeah. So the agreement about where he was sleeping? Where Noah was sleeping? Was expected, and Holly gave the guy just enough room for the wiping of nose against shoulder, but no more than that.
And, Holly, he listened. It made sense, what Noah was saying about the other-him, about how he hadn't felt like he could do anything, and Holly thought about that a second. He was, unsurprisingly, jarred from Noah's insistence about not being made a mess, and Holly lifted a hand to tug down on Noah's chin with his thumb.] We'd talk better if you were, like, three feet away. [Unrelated, but, you know, mostly true, and he stepped back before responding. He glanced around, and he walked toward a nearby tree. He motioned with his head, follow, and the Jeep was still visible from where the tree was. I mean, he wasn't looking to go deep into the trees or anything. He had maybe 30 minutes left on his break. So, he sat on the grass, knees up thighs spread, and he patted the space between his feet.] Come here. [If Noah was close enough? He tugged on whatever he could touch. Pants, sleeve, hem, ankle, until the guy was sitting on the grass, back to soft chest. And if Noah sat? Holly just wrapped his arms around the guy.] I know you're glad you're with me. I know catching me makes you happy. [Holly wasn't insecure about that, like, at all.] You were crazy wild to get in my pants. I know that. But I also know you probably weren't crying every day before I came around. [Beat. Testing.] Why don't you tell me what you know about the portal in the facility? I was going to ask Adrian, but you sounded like you might know about it. [And he sounded deadpan, unconcerned, right? But inside he was a mess about it, and he didn't, like, fight that right now. He just let himself fear it, and he waited to see what Noah did.]
