Best: A Discourse on Spirits, John Dee. Worst: The Picture of Dorian Gray, Oscar Wilde. Oscar Wilde's reputation is cool and all, but PoDG is a perfect example of Victorian excessive word puke with a narrative that's as dry as the paper it's printed on.
