Re: Log: Jeremiah M+Hannah S+Jamie M+Si M
Whatever had happened between Amy's co-worker and Jeremiah did sound bad. Amy had said that she and Jeremiah saw other people, or slept with them, or something like that, so Si assumed it was along those lines—and for Jeremiah to say he couldn't be in a relationship to Pippin, well... to be honest, none of this bolstered Si's opinion of the man standing in front of him. He looked at him, expression mostly blank, with only a sort of unamused amusement when Jeremiah allowed that the girl must've been more upset than he thought. No shit. Si lifted his brows to himself, then lifted his glass for a drink. It was fetched away from him, mid-motion, by Amy, and he let it go. "Do you two just... sleep with other people, or is it an open relationship?" He asked, partially out of curiosity and partially because he was feeling a little protective of Amy. He wasn't judging, because, if they both agreed to it, then whatever. But, he was slightly critical of a man who didn't share that information to the other parties.
And then there was this murder thing. Si looked to Jamie, as Jamie asked about Jeremiah's real name. He knew Hugh Christian. Everyone did. The name, at least. It was weird, how unlike movie stars movie stars looked in person, Si thought, as he took his glass back from Amy. Jamie then asked if the dead man involved knew he was being drugged, which, it seemed pretty obvious to Si, that, no, he didn't, and Si had to wonder how easy this man was to manipulate or if he was just leaving a lot out. Now, Si had done his own fair share of shitty and despicable and pathetic things. But, he'd never drugged someone, who then killed someone. Too bad he was practically unable to feel morally superior anymore. He scratched his chin with the rim of the glass, then he looked at Jamie again. Who seemed to be struggling. "Need some air, Jay?" Si found his own carton of cigarettes. He shook it. "Smoke break?" Maybe the lovebirds wanted to talk alone, anyway.
