Re: Log: Jeremiah M+Hannah S+Jamie M+Si M
Jamie kind of didn't know if he wanted to turn around and see if he could flag the Uber guy again. Hannah knocked her cheek against in a rush of energy, strawberry blond hair and motion that took her out of orbit and onward. He didn't know what else to say and looked at Si, instead. His own smile was like catching the end of someone else's cigarette, it flicked upward.
He followed in Si's riptide, partly because it was inevitable and partly because Jamie had the residue of a childhood fear of dogs, which maybe the dog, Heart, could smell. He didn't ask why Heart was named the way she was named. "Nice house," Jamie said unnecessarily, mostly to gap-fill. "Thanks for the invite to dinner."
