Re: Log: Jeremiah M+Hannah S+Jamie M+Si M
Jeremiah knew Si probably better than the other way around since he’d been his secret Santa, and they’d talked during that time. And of course there was the fact that Hannah had told him some things about her brother and her family. He'd lived long enough in downtown Seattle, and made his way in and out of enough clubs to not be unaware of the glaze in Si’s eyes, but he wasn’t put off by it. The smile stayed, and his nervousness didn’t pull out the underlying warmth in his gaze. Anxieties about how Hannah’s brothers would take to him aside, Jeremiah was glad to be getting to meet them. Glad that Hannah wanted him too. It made whatever they were forging feel more real, not something that was going to be transient, but something that would matter.
“Hello,” he extended his hand, taking Si’s firmly to shake it. “I’m Jeremiah, obviously I suppose. It’s good to meet you.” He stepped back and opened the door further to reveal a large entryway with an artistically laid wood flooring and a view of the stone fireplace beyond. “Come on in,” he offered. Amy was Hannah, and there was a half beat as he was confused as to which to use, but ultimately he followed Si’s lead: “Amy’s not here yet, but I’m sure she will be soon. Do you want a drink in the meantime? I’ve got sparkling water, gin - well there’s options.” He smiled.
