Re: log: Dietre & Liam
There was a visible flinch at the word 'dead'. Yeah, he knew it. He knew what he was, but it wasn't something he repeated often to himself. It wasn't something he thought on. Too painful. Way too fucking painful.
His form flickered again, not as intense as before, but when his image finally settled once again, it was fainter, less here than it was before. "There's- not me. I don't belong there." Liam shook his head, his voice full of sorrow. "I shouldn't have- I'm sorry, Dietre." Emotion contorted his face, and it looked for a moment as though he wanted to say something more, but then he shook his head.
"I'm sorry, Dietre." Those words were repeated instead, and Liam pushed forward, ice cold washing through Dietre as he pushed through the other boy, leaving only freezing mist and the smell of lake water in his absence.
