Re: Si/Jamie: diner
[Shoulders rounded, head down, Si blinked under the diner's old bulbs as he walked in, one of the town's many recent zombies. He'd come in what he'd been in, not really taking the time to do anything more than rub at the enamel of his teeth with a sleeve. He was pale, if not quite gaunt, a big man in bigger clothes like they could make him smaller. He lifted his gaze just enough to move over the line of the booths and find his little brother.
Jamie was in the back, looking about ready to fidget out of his skin. Si sighed, exhaling his last breath of the cigarette he'd left crushed just outside the dinging door. He lifted his hand in a weak greeting, then walked over.] Hey. [He sat with a rush of cold air that had caught in the wrinkles of his hoodie. He looked from the coffee on the table, to the phone, to Jamie.] You smoke?
