Re: Down: Lucifer / Misha
Misha sniffed at the air some when the cup appeared, curious 'bout what was inside, but he kept to his own cocoa, which he slurped at every few seconds like someone young as he truly was sitting on that cushion. And he did listen. Misha, he had loud opinions, but he also knew that his knowledge was real limited, and he wanted to hear what his daddy had to say. The man might not be inclined to be his father, but he was here, wasn't he? Talking, and that went a long way toward making Misha feel better. It was simple as could be, just a conversation, but Misha was a child in a whole lot of ways, and he was soothed just as easy as he spiked.
"I don't mind you saying I'm young. I tell that to Damian all the time too," and that was true 'nough. Misha, he wasn't unaware of his age and lack of experience any. Course, being young, he did groan some when his daddy went talking 'bout knowledge and knowing. "My foster folks didn't send me to school. I was meant to be homeschooled, but it didn't really happen none. Damian got me a tutor recent, to pass the GED, and I got into the performing arts program at the university, and there were classes I was meant to attend, but I quit going when..." He trailed some. "I quit going when I found out 'bout you and got all angry and confused," he admitted. "'Fore that, Heaven said I was malakim, and that I'd get charges soon, so that's what I learned with them, but now I ain't sure what I'm meant to do. Am I meant to be human and go to school? Am I meant to help folks? Am I meant to end the world in a big ol' burst of light?" He sighed. "I don't reckon I'm meant to help one religion over 'nother, or to get involved in them politics. Least I don't want to," he said truthfully, and he set the empty mug down.
He looked up quick at the amused sound in his daddy's laugh. He hadn't never thought 'bout Satan laughing, and he had to smile some himself. "I reckon it's fair some too. He lied so damn much, and could be this is just some universal retribution," he said. "Or could be that destined things are destined. Nilus, he was a real old angel here, he always said everything was 'bout balance, and if there's His Son, then there has to be something to balance that." It made sense some to Misha.
