Re: Down: Lucifer / Misha
Time moved differently Down and Up, and it was one of the many reasons Misha didn't have himself no idea how old he actually was. How young he was. He hadn't never gone looking at papers, but he reckoned the true number was a whole lot less than 21, and that Heaven had just done his numbers up right when he'd 'run off,' which he now knew wasn't running off at all, but rather them letting him go where he wanted, hoping he wouldn't be trouble to them in future. They'd tried to mold him into something, and they'd failed awful, and now here they were. He was an emotional, melancholic disaster aged somewhere in the teenage years, and he'd been on his own his whole life, least 'til Damian came along.
Now his daddy was here, and Misha was having himself a hard time figuring how that worked. Heaven said one thing. His momma had always said 'nother. And Misha was a ball of confusion in candyfloss colors and with a currently renewed desire to be a normal, human boy. He was Pinocchio looking 'round at that moment, and it took him a few seconds to to quit looking and focus on the presence in the space. "Everything the light touches is your kingdom," he said with a dimpled grin. Course, he knew precisely where his daddy was stood. He felt that man no matter where he was, and he knew now he always had.
He looked toward that grove, and he gave his daddy a small nod at the invitation. Hands shoved real far into his pockets, Misha walked past the trees and to the cool oasis hid in the center. Misha looked up, and then down at the armchairs and sitting cushions, and he laughed some quiet and 'neath his breath. "What does it look like when it's just you?" he asked, curious 'bout whether this was for his comfort or his daddy's. But he didn't keep to standing. He dropped down on a cushion and crossed his legs with the flexibility of youth, one shin over his knee, one shin 'neath the other. "You call me to yell at me 'bout Claire? It wasn't gossiping. Me and Damian live together, and I told him Claire and my daddy were involved. She told me so. You did too, and I didn't reckon it was no secret." Here, he turned pale, pale blue eyes on the man who'd fathered him. "Why is it a secret?" he asked, curious blink and all.
