It was a chain-reaction. Janus's jaw-strainer of a yawn provokes Eames once more, this time longer, less grudging. Sleep was mandatory, for Eames. He just wasn't getting much of it.
"Isn't it? I wish I'd thought of a contingency plan for my death." Eames wasn't clever enough for it. It required thinking sideways and in front. He sounded admiring, and mournful and somewhat resigned, in the hollow of sleeplessness. "That's the problem with records. People keep keeping them. I'm not sure this is the solution. But I need room to think."
